Hamilton, N.Y. — A reported shooting in Madison County Wednesday morning is believed to be a possible swatting call, State Police said.
Around 7:27 a.m., State Police in Morrisville received a call from an unknown number of a man who claimed he had shot his mother in the shoulder at a home on Airport Road in the town of Hamilton, said Trooper Jennifer Jiron, a State Police spokesperson.
