Two national homebuilders are planning a 919-home community near Tomball after recently acquiring 445 acres in northwest Harris County.
The project by Toll Brothers and Tri Pointe Homes could mark a turning point for a site long constrained by drainage issues and fragmented ownership. It also shows how larger builders continue to take on more complex land deals as they try to tap into demand fueled by Houston’s suburban growth.
