PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A former federal corrections officer from Sheridan was sentenced to 12 years for child sexual abuse on Tuesday, the Polk County District Attorney’s office announced Wednesday.
Peter Nicholas Fles, Jr., 41, pleaded no contest to two counts of first-degree sex abuse by abusing a child under the age of 14 in West Salem.
