KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knox County Schools previewed its proposed 2026-27 budget Tuesday, hosting a community meeting for those wanting to weigh in on the district’s spending priorities.
Among those priorities is a proposed $700,000 increase to preschool programs serving around 1,800 students across the district.
