A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized after being shot near a middle school in the San Fernando Valley Wednesday.
The shooting occurred near Sepulveda Middle School at 15330 W Plummer St. in the North Hills neighborhood just after 3 p.m., according to the Los Angeles School Police Department.
