MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Flooding returned to Milwaukee roadways early Thursday, April 16 after a second straight night of heavy rain across southeast Wisconsin.
About a 3-block stretch of road was closed where Miller Pkwy. turns into 43rd St. near the Kinnickinnic River. Police blocked off one end of the closure, though some cars had already driven through the standing water. Several vehicles remained stuck from overnight.
“I’m out here so early because I have to get my car towed out of a giant puddle,” one stranded driver told us early Thursday. “I was going to my grandma’s house to go clean up her house. My car gets stuck and nobody can help me.”…
