It is a universal struggle for those of us who weren’t born with a natural green thumb, the cycle of “plant-buy-guilt.” If you are anything like me, you probably spend a fair amount of time wandering through the aisles of Shreveport nurseries , admiring the lush greenery and vibrant blooms, while secretly wishing you could recreate that magic at home.
During the pandemic shutdown, I was absolutely convinced that I was destined to become a “plant parent.” I had visions of a flourishing patio garden that would be the envy of the neighborhood.
Unfortunately, reality hit hard. Instead of cultivating an epic botanical oasis, I ended up bringing plants home only to watch them slowly wither away. It was a tragic scene for my patio and a blow to my ego, but I haven’t officially given up on my dreams of one day being a Master Gardener…
