Frosty, freezing temps threaten the PNW Thursday morning

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The National Weather Service office in Portland has issued frost advisories and freeze warnings for several areas overnight Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

The frost advisory covers areas of the Willamette Valley and Clark County from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Thursday morning.

Temperatures as low as 33 to 36 degrees will result in frost formation overnight. Areas impacted include North Oregon Coast Range Lowlands, Central Oregon Coast Range, North Oregon Coast Range, Central Oregon Coast Range, Tualatin Valley, West Central Willamette Valley, East Central Willamette Valley, Benton County Lowlands, Linn County Lowlands, Lane County Lowlands, Clackamas County Cascade Foothills, Cowlitz County Lowlands, North Clark County Lowlands, and the South Washington Cascade Foothills.
