The Fresno City Council voted unanimously last month to begin reversing the renaming of a major roadway that had been designated Cesar Chavez Boulevard. The Fresno Planning Commission’s April 15 agenda included a recommendation to the City Council to restore three original street names along the approximately 6.9-mile corridor: California Avenue, Ventura Street, and Kings Canyon Road.
