Fresno Police to conduct DUI patrols Saturday night

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno Police Department announced they are conducting DUI patrols Saturday night.

Police say the patrols will run from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. Drivers who are caught driving impaired and charged with a first-time DUI face an average of $13,500 in fines and penalties, as well as a suspended license.

Police are also asking drivers to follow directions for use and read warning labels about driving. Although medicinal and recreational marijuana are legal, driving under the influence of marijuana is illegal…
