COLUMBUS COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a string of mailbox destruction incidents reported in the North Whiteville, Evergreen and Macedonia communities.
The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office said around 20 mailboxes were vandalized during the spree on April 6.
With help from the Horry County Police Department, Columbus County deputies arrested Walker Chase Richardson, of Aynor, South Carolina, on April 13. Richardson was extradited to North Carolina on April 15, the sheriff’s office said…
