After 10 years, Hooters is set to close its Ocala location on April 19.
“This decision has been made as part of our current efforts to focus, revitalize and strengthen the Original Hooters brand across America,” reads a statement from Hooters Ocala management and staff. “We are sincerely grateful to our guests, team members and community partners for their continued support and loyalty throughout the years.”
This Hooters location opened in May 2016 in Paddock Center, 2711 SW 27th Ave., near the Hollywood 16 movie theater complex. The building, which measures more than 5,600 square feet, previously had been the home of many restaurants and nightclubs since 1998, including a Champs Sports Bar and Grill…
