Wisconsin is in the midst of a national search for a new athletic director after Chris McIntosh stepped down last week. Adam Rittenberg joined ESPN Madison and mentioned one name that he thinks is worth keeping an eye on for Badger fans. He thinks it’s important for the next AD to “understand what they’re walking into.”
He said there’s a name in the Barry Alvarez tree that may hold some interest. While he talks about a variety of approaches that Wisconsin can take, the only name he mentions is Sean Frazier, the Vice President/Director of Athletics and Recreation from Northern Illinois.
