Wichita-based auto dealer adds 12 Maryland locations in $500 million deal

WICHITA, Kan, (KSNW) — Brandon Steven Motors announced Wednesday that it has acquired a southern Maryland dealership with 12 locations in a deal valued at almost $500 million.

The Wichita-based company said it will now have more than 30 dealerships nationwide.

Brandon Steven Motors had $1.44 billion in revenue in 2025, and with the acquisition of the Maryland dealerships, the company projects that revenue will exceed $2.5 billion annually.

“This was not a transaction we were actively pursuing,” President Brandon Steven said in a news release. “But opportunities of this caliber are rare. The scale, brand mix, and market position made it clear this was a transformational move for our company.
