26-year-old woman injured, shots fired during confrontation in Saline

SALINE, MI – A 26-year-old woman was injured late Thursday evening during a confrontation in Saline that resulted in a gun being fired.

Police were called around 11:40 p.m. April 16 for a report of shots fired in the 600 block of Woodland Drive in Saline after three people confronted a woman as she was leaving work, according to the Saline Police Department.

The trio – two women and one man – had traveled from Detroit to Saline to confront the woman over a prior dispute. The three women then got into a physical altercation, leading one of them to fire a gun…
