KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -While we did receive some welcomed rain Thursday night, another round of more widespread rain is making its way into East TN this weekend.
FRIDAY: After a foggy start, mostly sunny skies return with highs in the mid 80s. Winds southwest at 5-10 mph.
SATURDAY: Partly cloudy, breezy and very warm with highs in the mid to upper 80s. A good portion of the daytime will be dry, but during the afternoon a few spotty showers will be possible ahead of an approaching cold front. Much of the activity holds off until after sunset Saturday night. Rain becomes widespread overnight, with a few rumbles of thunder possible…
