Developer considers community feedback in proposed South Knoxville development plan

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — After two community meetings, developer CR Endeavors is working to create a revised plan reflecting that feedback. The Birmingham-based firm is proposing an apartment complex on the Kerbela Shriners Temple site in South Knoxville.

CR Endeavors’ development team met with city staff and members of the South Waterfront Advisory and Advocacy Group on Thursday afternoon. They discussed the community’s concerns with the proposal, including massing, retail space, parking and connectivity.

Representatives with the firm said they’ve already considered some feedback. Now, they have around one week to revise the plan to include more of the community’s input…
