FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WKRG) – As electric motorcycles and E-bikes grow in popularity, the Fairhope Police Department said they’re seeing a rise in unsafe and illegal electric riding.

Katie Bolton owns Pro Cycle, a cycling store in Downtown Fairhope, she told News 5 that e-bikes have many wonderful benefits.

“E-bikes are fantastic,” she said. “They help people get out that might not otherwise be able to get out and just ride a traditional bike.”…
