FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WKRG) — More than 30 teams are set to compete during the 2026 Fairhope Rotary Steak Cook-Off, according to event organizers.
Mobile County woman wins season 29 of ‘The Voice’
The event, set for May 9 at 7 p.m. on North Bancroft Street in Fairhope, offers visitors a taste of “mouthwatering steak, fine wine, cold beer and live music under the stars,” according to the Eventbrite website, where tickets can be purchased.
Proceeds from the event will help fund projects such as:
- Fairhope Police Department’s Back to School program and Shop with a Cop Christmas program
- The Fairhope Rotary Youth Club’s after-school and summer programs for at-risk children
- Four annual renewable scholarships for graduating high school seniors
- Fairhope Intermediate School’s Pirate Patch Vegetable Garden
- An emergency relief trailer that allows Rotarians to respond quickly to natural disasters with food, water and essential supplies
