Myrtle Beach announces Memorial Day weekend safety plan

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The city of Myrtle Beach is laying out its most aggressive Memorial Day weekend safety plan yet to keep the city moving during one of the busiest times of the year.

The city’s plan is based on data collected from Myrtle Beach International Airport passenger count, South Carolina Department of Transportation automatic traffic recorder, license plate reader, and internal city and outside agency after-action reports.
