AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — A firefighter with the Amarillo Fire Department was arrested and booked into the Carson County Detention Center on charges out of Randall County.
Amarillo daycare owner arrested
According to a complaint filed in Randall County, Chad Wayne Lowe was charged with one count as follows: “Knowingly Fail to Make a Required Child Abuse Report.”
In a news release from the Amarillo Fire Department, officials said they were made aware of the arrest and that Lowe was placed on administrative leave.
Amarillo teen arrested for multiple sex crimes against children
Court documents state that “Chad Wayne Lowe, hereafter called defendant, having cause to believe that the physical or mental health or welfare of ‘Jane Doe’, a child, had been, and may be adversely affected by abuse and neglect, did then and there knowingly fail to make a report as provided by chapter 261 of the Texas Family Code.”
