Rockport-Fulton High School’s Logann Wood won both hurdle events, and also helped the girls 400-meter relay to gold in the District 29-4A/30-4A meet on Thursday at Pirate Stadium.
Wood, a sophomore, qualified for the regional meet in four events after Thursday. Wood won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.48 seconds, took the 300 hurdles in 45.06, and also finished third in the long jump with a leap of 17-feet, 8 ½ inches. Wood teamed with Sydney Barton, Holly Baergen and Adyson Burton to clock in at 48.21 to win the girls 400-meter relay.
Wyatt Thompson also claimed gold in the boys high jump with a jump of 6-3, and teammate Evan Richardson jumped 6-0 to take third in the same event and also earn a regional berth…
