PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — New details have emerged in the case of a Vancouver man charged with murdering his wife last week.
Tyrell Emmanuel Peters was arrested April 14 and charged with first-degree murder after his wife Naomi Lealani Peters was found dead at their home on Northeast Oakbrook Circle in Vancouver on April 9.
Peters’ mother told detectives she and her husband saw him the day of the incident. According to court documents obtained by KOIN 6 News, Peters allegedly sent his mother “concerning” text messages after the visit that indicated there were problems in the marriage, including a female zombie emoji.
