BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Westchester Fourth of July parade has been canceled, according to organizers.

Chairwoman Robin Paggi and her predecessor Natalie Green both confirmed Friday that the parade committee voted to cancel the six-block event permanently because of new city requirements including mandatory road closures.
