Man serving life sentence in connection with fatal Boston shooting granted parole

A man who was serving a life sentence for a deadly shooting in Boston when he was 18 years old has been granted parole.

Gary Johnson shot and killed a man during a robbery in 2007. Johnson was sentenced to life in prison but was granted parole on March 16, according to parole documents.
