Stolen ATM was ripped from ground in Blythewood, deputies say

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said it is investigating an attempted ATM theft in Blythewood.

Deputies said they responded to an alarm at First Community Bank, 201 Main St., about 2:40 a.m. Friday. When they arrived, they said they found an ATM had been forcibly removed from the ground, left on its side and partially cracked open. Money was still inside the machine…
