Free Laundry Day in Owensboro Offers a Little Help and a Lot of Heart
Let’s be real, prices are getting more expensive, and doing basic chores seem to be a burden. One thing I love about Evansville is seeing the community try to make things easier for other community members. An event called Loads of Loveis giving folks in Owensboro a chance to take one chore off their plate completely free.
So keep in mind on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the laundromat at AC Discount Coin Laundry will open its doors to anyone needing to wash clothes, no cost, no catch.
More Than Just Clean Clothes
And like I said, it’s not just about laundry. Its about being helping out other people.
From noon to 2 p.m., they’ll also be serving up hot dogs, chips, and bottled water because sometimes a warm meal and a friendly face go just as far as a clean outfit.
