16-year-old arrested, charged with first-degree murder in Shelby Farms shooting, SCSO says

CORDOVA, Tenn. – A 16-year-old has been arrested in connection with a shooting at Shelby Farms Park that left a teen dead, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) said.

SCSO said the teen is charged with first-degree murder, criminal attempt first-degree murder, reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and three counts of aggravated assault.
