BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A traffic stop on I-10 led to the arrest of a wanted fugitive out of Georgia, according to West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff Jeff Bergeron.
Bergeron said a deputy with the Criminal Patrol Division stopped a vehicle on Thursday, April 16. During the stop, the driver gave a false identity, raising concerns about his true identity and immigration status.
