Police in Wisconsin seize firearms, drugs during targeted drug bust

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin say they have seized several firearms and drugs following a targeted drug bust on Tuesday.

According to a release from the Milwaukee Police Department – District 3, the District three’s Violent Crime Reduction Team executed a search warrant at the home of someone who police know was selling drugs throughout the City of Milwaukee.

While searching the home, officers found and seized various narcotics as well as four firearms, including one that was an AR-style pistol featuring a conversion device rendering the firearm a machinegun.

Police also located the target of the search warrant driving a rental car in the area. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, which led to the suspect fleeing from officers, reaching speeds of 130+ miles per hour while also traveling in oncoming lanes.

The suspect eventually exited the vehicle and ran on foot in the City of Brookfield. Milwaukee police officers and officers from agencies in the surrounding area worked together to safely arrest the “dangerous” suspect…
