Late University of Michigan researcher remembered as ‘promising scientist’

ANN ARBOR, MI — Late University of Michigan researcher Danhao Wang’s death was “probably the worst thing that our community has experienced this past year,” said Linda Wan, a University of Michigan alumna.

Wan, a 61-year-old Ann Arbor resident, wanted the community to come together to recognize Wang’s life, amid recent alleged measures taken against Chinese scholars at UM. So, she helped organize a vigil to commemorate his life.
