Brooke Hogan has opened up about her regrets over being excluded from the will of her late father, wrestling icon Hulk Hogan.

Terry Gene Bollea, better known as Hulk Hogan, passed away in July 2025 due to a heart attack while recovering from neck surgery at his Florida home. He left behind his partner Sky Daily and his two children, Brooke and Nick Hogan.

In a recent appearance on the Hollywood Raw Podcast, Brooke reflected on her decision to remove herself from her father’s will, a choice rooted in past disagreements. “I regret that decision. Not because of the money – I’ve never been about the money – but because now I don’t have a seat at the table,” she shared.

Brooke explained that her withdrawal stemmed from concerns about her safety and mistrust of some individuals surrounding her father. “There were situations that had me so scared.

I really took myself off the wheel because, No. 1, I was actually scared for myself, my family, my safety,” she said.

“There were just too many people that I had solid knowledge of not being good people around my dad. I tried to tell him, and I felt that if I created any more waves, I would be in danger – and that’s for sure.”

Reports indicate that Brooke asked Hulk Hogan’s financial manager to remove her from the will after clashes over who was influencing her father’s estate. Hulk Hogan reportedly questioned Brooke’s intentions, which contributed to the estrangement between father and daughter before his passing.

Despite being left out of the will, Brooke is still named as a beneficiary of a small life insurance trust established by her father. Following Hulk Hogan’s death, her brother Nick Hogan filed court documents to ensure she would receive no inheritance, a move Brooke says she supported.

“His decision is no surprise to me. It’s what I asked for, I stand by it with no regrets,” she told TMZ.

Since then, Brooke Hogan has been living in a hotel with her husband and their children. Her husband, Steven Oleksy, spoke to Us Weekly about their current lifestyle, noting that their experience with travel and hockey has made the transition manageable.

He also highlighted Brooke’s dedication to her music career: “She’s been putting in long days. A few nights have turned into 3 a.m. to 4 a.m., trying to knock out as much music as possible.

It is her true love and passion, and she has been gone from it because of things out of her control. She is very excited to bring the fans some updated music, and in the new tracks, she does a little bit of everything.”

Brooke Hogan’s candid reflections reveal the complex family dynamics behind the scenes of the wrestling legend’s legacy and her determination to move forward on her own terms.
