LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — If you’re hunting for a burger that can hang with the best in the state, Say McIntosh Family Restaurant is making a pretty tasty case, and it’s doing it with a side of sweet potato pie history.
The restaurant was nominated by viewers in the state’s best burger contest, and owner Robbie McIntosh says the key is keeping it simple and fresh. McIntosh uses “fresh ground beef, no frozen patties,” along with a “toasted bun” with meat “seasoned to perfection.”
McIntosh Restaurant is also known for its sweet potato pies, a legacy that goes back decades. “My grandfather started this way back in 1962 became known as the sweet potato pie King, and we still have that great recipe today,” McIntosh said…
