SATURDAY, APRIL 11
• 6:43 p.m. — Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 34 about 3 miles west of Lebanon that took the lives of Kayla Marie Fonseca, 35, of Sweet Home, and Ashley Sue Fraley, 31, of Lebanon. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that a westbound Hyundai Elantra driven by a 55-year-old Sweet Home woman was traveling on Highway 34 when it hydroplaned and crossed into the eastbound lane. The Hyundai collided head-on with Fraley’s eastbound BMW 32L. Fonseca, a passenger in the Hyundai, and Fraley were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
