Intermittent closures coming to North Beauregard Street as Holmes Run Trail repairs press on

Drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians who count on North Beauregard Street should plan for short, on-and-off closures starting Monday, as the city continues its long and costly effort to rebuild the Holmes Run Trail.

The stretch of North Beauregard Street between Sanger Avenue and North Morgan Street will be closed intermittently from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays from Monday, April 20, through Tuesday, April 28, according to the city. Each shutdown is expected to last 15 to 30 minutes to accommodate the delivery of equipment and materials tied to the trail repairs.

The first closure will come earlier than the rest. A crane is scheduled to be delivered and installed beginning at about 7 a.m. on April 20. All other deliveries will fall within the midday window…
