RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities say a man is dead and a woman is in the hospital after a Saturday morning shooting in northeast Richland County.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said officers were called to the 200 block of Pond Ridge Road East around 10:30 a.m. to reports of a shooting. Arriving deputies found a man dead and a woman with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
Investigators now believe that 39-year-old Christopher Todd shot the victim before turning the gun on himself. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition…
