COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Electricity has now been restored to a mile-long stretch of Hilliard Rome Road Saturday evening after wind-blown debris triggered a power outage that stalled traffic and businesses for over two hours, according to a representative for AEP Ohio.
The firm explains that the outage began around 3:21 p.m., leaving major intersections dark and forcing Columbus Police to monitor the busy commercial corridor.
