Warm weekend gives way to cooler, breezy weather early next week

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (WPEC) — South Florida is in for a warm and mostly dry weekend, but a shift in the weather pattern is on the way.

Early this morning, patchy fog may reduce visibility in some areas, especially inland. Conditions should improve quickly after sunrise.

Today and Sunday will feature plenty of sunshine and rising temperatures. Inland areas could approach 90 degrees, with some spots nearing record highs for this time of year. Coastal locations will be slightly cooler, generally in the mid-80s, thanks to a light ocean breeze.

While the weather stays quiet through the weekend, beach conditions remain a concern. A moderate risk of rip currents continues, so swimmers should use caution and stay near lifeguards…
