Memphis rescue dog finds new purpose crossing finish lines

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — From living on the streets to crossing the finish line, a once-stray puppy has been given a new purpose.

The dogs were out at Shelby Farms on Saturday monring during the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County Fast and Furriest 5k.

It’s a race where runners can run with their dogs and raise funds to help abused, neglected, and unwanted animals in Shelby County.
