WORCESTER, Mass. — The Massachusetts rowing team took on Boston College, Connecticut, Holy Cross, MIT and Sacred Heart in a round of racing on Saturday morning at Lake Quinsigamond. The UMass Varsity 8 (6:29.5) and Second Varsity 4 (7:35.6) won their races, while the Second Varsity 8 placed second (6:53.0). The Varsity 4 placed third (and 7:33.9).
