At least two tornadoes confirmed from Friday’s storms in Wisconsin with more possible

WISCONSIN — At least two tornadoes touched down in Friday’s storms so far in Wisconsin, according to the National Weather Service.

The first confirmed tornado from Friday was in Wind Lake, rated at an EF-1. NWS estimated peak winds of 100 mph. It began on west side of US-45 in northern Racine County and tracked northeast to County Line Rd on the south side of Franklin in Milwaukee County. There were many snapped and uprooted trees, barn damage, house roof damage, and a warehouse lost 50% of its roof.

The second tornado was an EF-0 in northern Racine County that began near North Cape and tracked northeast to 7 Mile Road, where it overlapped with the end of the first tornado. NWS reported estimated peak winds of 80 mph. There was intermittent damage to a few trees and a barn with a portion of its roof torn off…
