Paraglider crashes into hillside and sustains extensive injuries, firefighters say

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – On Saturday, April 18, at 10 a.m., a paraglider sustained extensive injuries after crashing into a hillside in a remote area along the upper mid-slope of Kingsbury Grade, according to an East Fork Professional Firefighters Facebook post.

In the crash, the paraglider hit rocks and other terrain and landed one mile from the roadway, the post said.

Firefighters hiked into the location and immediately began providing medical care…
