LYON COUNTY, Nev. (KOLO) – In the past seven days, Dayton deputies, Nevada State Police and the Sheriff’s Traffic Enforcement Team conducted about 130 traffic stops, resulting in 47 citations and two DUI arrests during a traffic safety enforcement campaign along Hwy 50 East through Dayton and Mound House in Lyon County, according to a Lyon County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post on Saturday, April 18.
The violations included speeding, tailgating, and failure to yield to oncoming traffic.
Radar and lidar readings clocked speeds from 65 mph in a posted 45 mph zone to 80 mph in a posted 55 mph zone, the post said…
