FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – On April 19, 1992, a day that year was Easter Sunday, three members of the Ewell family were found dead in their southeast Fresno home.
The bodies were found two days later. According to court records, 24-year-old Tiffany Ewell was found shot dead on the kitchen floor.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office went on to discover that, along with Tiffany, both her parents, Dale Ewell and his wife Glee Ewell, were also shot dead in the home on East Park Circle Drive in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Fresno.
In July 1998, their son Dana Ewell was convicted as the mastermind of the family’s deaths, along with Joel Radovich, who was also convicted in connection with the killings.
Prosecutors believed that Dana set up the killings, and his college roommate, Joel, pulled the trigger so Dana could inherit the family estate…
