Man reportedly stabbed three times on Saturday night; Cayce officials say suspect identified

CAYCE, S.C. — Authorities say one person was taken to the hospital after authorities say he was stabbed on Saturday night in Cayce.

A City of Cayce spokesperson said the incident happened under the bridge at Charleston Highway and I-26, with the first call coming in around 11 p.m. Preliminary details suggest the victim, a 33-year-old man, was stabbed three times in the arm and went to the nearby Waffle House for help and to get someone to call 911.

The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment. His condition wasn’t shared publicly at the time. Police said they have identified a suspect, but said he isn’t yet in custody as of Sunday morning…
