ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Western New York saw flurries, graupel, and rain showers Sunday morning as warmer air marches off to the east and colder air moves in out of the north. As of Sunday morning, Rochester has seen over a 25 degree drop in temperature over the past 24 hours.
As we stay in between air masses Sunday, widespread mixed precipitation should transition over to mostly scattered rain showers by Sunday afternoon. High temperatures reach near 46 degrees, and some very limited instability may even support a rumble or two of thunder in the Finger Lakes. Winds will be breezy at times with gusts out of the west/northwest between 25-30 mph. We remain green on the Threat Tracker as no severe or disruptive weather is in the forecast.
