DES MOINES, Iowa — Authorities say firearms were recovered and multiple people were detained after gunfire in Des Moines’ Pioneer Park neighborhood.
Urbandale sinkhole expands after week of severe weather
The Des Moines Police Department says officers are investigating reports of gunfire in the 1600 block of E. Pioneer Road, near the Pioneer Park area.
Authorities say there have been no reports of injuries. DMPD officers have recovered firearms and say multiple people have been detained during the investigation.
