CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – We have one more sub-freezing night before another big warmup arrives.

After another cool and pleasant day, lows tonight fall into the mid to upper 20s under mostly clear skies. Because of the cold air and ongoing greenup across eastern Iowa, the National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for areas along and south of Highway 20. If you have any cold-sensitive plants, move them inside or cover them overnight.

After a frosty start Monday, temperatures rebound nicely. Highs reach the low to mid 60s under mostly sunny skies. Lows Monday night fall into the mid to upper 40s under mostly clear skies…
