Galion, Ohio-based Willig Tire Recycling has announced the opening of a second location, known as Willig Tire Recycling South, in Hamilton, Ohio. The Hamilton end-of-life tire (ELT) processing facility is located on property owned by Cincinnati-based waste and recycling services provider Rumpke Waste & Recycling.
Willig Tire Recycling says it will manage tire shredding and material processing operations previously performed onsite in Hamilton by Rumpke.
“With the demand for responsible tire recycling continuing to rise, expanding into southern Ohio allows us to better serve our customers while significantly increasing our processing capacity,” says Steve Porter, co-owner and chief operating officer of Willig Tire Recycling. “Operating from a facility like this gives us a strong strategic advantage as we continue to scale.”…
