Watervliet domestic disturbance leads to weapons arrests

WATERVLIET, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Two people in Watervliet were arrested on weapons charges. It stemmed from a reported domestic disturbance.

Around 9:30 a.m. on April 17, Watervliet police were called to a report of menacing with a firearm on the 1400-block of 5th Avenue. The victim told police Phalon Graham, 18, threatened to kill her if she returned to his apartment and displayed what appeared to be a handgun in his waistband and damaged her property.

A search warrant was executed at the apartment, and multiple firearms were recovered. Graham and Kimberly Bloomfield, 43, were taken into custody. Police said Bloomfield was the primary resident, and children under the age of 17 also lived there.

Graham was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree — defaced firearm, menacing, and criminal mischief. He was arraigned and sent to Albany County Jail…
